Sockcrime doesn't pay
The Shelby Star, of Cleveland County, N.C. reports that two men were caught stealing $129.40 worth of socks and other underclothes from a discount store. Of the many miscalculations here, the most egregious, in our eyes, is that these men were choosing their socks from a discount store! Like famous investor Warren Buffett, we agree that "Price is what you pay pay; value is what you get." Buying quality footwear (like Jeep, Gentle Grip and Glenmuir) at a fair price can be a much better investment than cheap socks. The cheap socks will not service your feet well, and you will frequently need to replace them to boot! Like Warren Buffett says, it pays to invest in quality, whether you are in the stock market or the... (cough) sock market.
